CAFU EXPLAINS WORLD CUP TROPHY IMPORTANCE

Brazilian football legend Cafu is certain that winning the World Cup trophy is the dream of every football player as he said that the current footballers would be trying to win the trophy at the next edition of the tournament known as World Cup 2022 tournament in Qatar.


Cafu also pointed out that the World Cup trophy means a lot to those who have won it before. Cafu is a two-time World Cup champion and the ex-AS Roma and AC Milan fullback is in tune with the belief that the World Cup is for everyone and that every country has the right to bid for it and also host it. Cafu won the World Cup trophy for the first time at the 1994 edition in the United States of America. Cafu and Brazil beat Italy in a penalty shootout after the two teams could not find the back of the net at the end of both regulation time and extra time.

Cafu, 50, talked about the upcoming World Cup 2022 tournament in Qatar in a recent interview as a Global Ambassador for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and he believes that the World Cup 2022 tournament will deliver the kind of experiences that he had at previous World Cup editions. Cafu is one of the ambassadors of the World Cup tournament in Qatar and he's certain that the tournament won't disappoint. Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament starts in almost two years' time.
Brazilian football icon Cafu would definitely want to see his beloved Brazil at the tournament. The right-back specialist won his second and final World Cup trophy with the Selecao of Brazil at the 2002 edition in South Korea and Japan. Brazil have not won the tournament since that triumph on Asian soil almost two decades ago.
